| Keys to success |
| • |
Plan and programme each project in significant detail, including the design and procurement processes that are critical to successful delivery. |
| • |
Rigidly control all financial sectors of the project and, as a key element of this control, present regular updates to the client on the Final Account Forecast and the effect of any variations. |
| • |
Select both the site manager and surveyor with the relevant skills required to lead the construction process successfully. |
| • |
Form a fully cohesive Project Team, to include not only the client and the design team, but also the suppliers and sub-contractors through effective partnering arrangements. |
| • |
Pay the suppliers and sub-contractors promptly to establish confidence in both the team and the project and to ensure their full cooperation in all regards. |
